FROM 30 BHP TO 1,000 BHP

The recently launched Industrial Condensing Technologies (ICT) is a state-of-the-art boiler, designed and manufactured by Unilux Advanced Manufacturing, LLC, providing new hot water condensing technology for the boiler industry. The design comes with 6 year’s proven field operation, with two 94% efficient 20 000 MBH input ICT boilers installed at the Harvard – Allston Campus Expansion central heating plant.

The product has been designed to offer condensing boiler technology to the large institutional / industrial markets, with a rugged and serviceable construction for 40+ years service life. The boiler operates with thermal efficiencies of up to 97%, covering by far the widest range of design and operational capabilities in the industrial market today.

Starting at an input rating of 12 000 MBH and increasing to a maximum input capacity of 38 000 MBH, this design offers design engineers the ability to move away from the current high quantity / small capacity modular boiler system design. Where previously 10 or more units of current condensing technologies were required for a large central heating plant application, ICT offers the engineer the ability to design their heating system using as few as 2 or 3 units to meet the same system capacity.

Standard ICT design provides capabilities with natural gas or dual fuel (natural gas / No. 2 oil) firing, using non-proprietary proven combustion technology. Further, for either fuel firing option, ICT operates standard at less than 30 ppm NOx emissions (NG), with the option for ultra low NOx operation at < 9 ppm NOx (NG). Adding to the system operational flexibility for the design engineer is the fact that ICT is impervious to the effects of thermal shock, carrying a standard out of the box 25 year warranty against damage or failure caused by thermal expansion/ contraction.

The ICT Boiler by Unilux offers the large institutional / industrial market a proven product design, providing large input capacity condensing hot water boilers with efficiencies of up to 97% with a 40+ year operational service life. This product provides engineers the ability to design their industrial hot water heating plants using condensing boiler technology while requiring fewer units operating with multiple fuels and low NOx emissions capabilities, reducing both fuel consumption requirements and harmful emissions to the environment.
