United Methodist Church of the Resurrection
In 1990, the 30 members of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection began their fledgling congregation on a site in Leawood, KS. Today that church has over 12,500 members and is on the verge of completing the first phase of an ambitious construction project that features a 3,050 seat sanctuary and educational wing all beautifully detailed with original murals of Kansas nature scenes, terrazzo floors and inspirational lighting – all as a testament to the church’s mission of transforming lives and transforming their community while renewing the mainline church through worship, evangelism, service, discipleship and fellowship.
Funded by the financial commitment of 2,324 member families, every detail of this project – including the (2) Model ZF600W Unilux Boilers – were selected for the quality, longevity and comfort it would bring to the church’s mission.
Through the work of local representatives at the time, Unilux was named as the basis of the project’s design. Unilux then worked closely with Foley Co., the installing contractor, to insure an exceptionally smooth start-up. The completion of this phase of construction is just the beginning for this fast growing congregation who will soon add a 7,000 seat sanctuary to its flexible welcoming campus – all part of the church’s motto: God’s Plans … Our Hands.
